A chamber, formally constituted The Chamber of Cocoa Marketers Ghana was officially launched on Thursday 13 August 2026 at the Auditorium of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ridge, Accra. Proceedings ran from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The launch marks the Chamber's transition from the Licensed Cocoa Buyers Association of Ghana, established on 23 November 2010, into a chamber constituted as a company limited by guarantee. The distinction is not cosmetic A voluntary association can convene its members; a chamber can hold them to enforceable standards, and can negotiate on their behalf on a durable institutional footing.
